Opened in 1913, the Széchenyi Spa was the first thermal bath built on the Pest side of the city. Its water comes from two deep thermal springs with temperatures reaching 74–77°C (165–170°F), rich in minerals that are said to help with joint pain, circulation, and relaxation. With 15 indoor pools and 3 large outdoor pools, the complex operates year-round — even in winter, when visitors soak in steaming water surrounded by snow.
